A popular dual-purpose variety that has become synonymous with "candy flavor" and enjoys overwhelming support in modern IPA recipes. Centered around sweet, pop-like fruit aromas reminiscent of ripe pineapple and hard candy, it harmonizes with refreshing light citrus and the juiciness of stone fruit. While its high alpha acid content makes it ideal for clean bittering, its use in the whirlpool or for dry hopping brings an explosive juiciness to Hazy IPAs and Pale Ales. When combined with Citra, Mosaic, or Idaho 7, it powerfully boosts the fruitiness of the aroma.
