概要

サザンクロスは、トロピカルフルーツとシトラスの明確な香りを持ち、レモンやライムの爽やかな香りに加えて、わずかなパイン（松）のニュアンスが感じられるホップです。
フリースタイルのサザンクロスは後期収穫で、円みのあるシトラスキャラクターとトロピカルな甘みを併せ持ち、他にはない深みとバランスを実現しています。
サザンクロスに多く含まれるテルペンアルコールは、他のホップが持つチオール由来のトロピカルアロマを引き立てる「プロモーター効果」を持ちます。ネルソンソーヴィンとの相性が特に良いことで知られていますが、後期収穫のサザンクロスは単体でも十分に存在感を発揮します。

Freestyle Southern Cross

Overview

Southern Cross delivers distinct tropical fruit and citrus aromas with pronounced lemon and lime notes and a subtle hint of pine. Freestyle’s later-harvest Southern Cross achieves an unrivalled depth and intensity of rounded citrus character, balancing brightness with tropical sweetness.
High concentrations of terpene alcohols in Southern Cross enhance the perception of thiol-driven tropical notes in other hops, giving it a unique “promoter effect.” It is often thought of as the perfect partner for Nelson Sauvin, but Freestyle’s later-harvest lots easily stand on their own in hop-forward beers.
