概要

モトゥエカは、レモンやライムを中心とした複雑なシトラスキャラクターに、他の柑橘やトロピカルフルーツが重なるホップです。フリースタイルでは、収穫時期によって異なる個性を引き出しており、早期収穫では明るく爽やかなライムとフローラル、ホワイトフルーツの香りが際立ち、後期収穫では柔らかいレモンライムソーダのような甘みとトロピカルフルーツの複雑な香りが広がります。
モトゥエカは、トロピカルなトップノートを加えたいホップフォワードなビールに最適で、レジン感やダンクさを持つホップと組み合わせることで、よりバランスの取れたアロマを生み出します。

Freestyle Motueka

Overview

Motueka has a complex character with distinct lemon-lime notes supported by layers of other citrus and tropical fruit. Freestyle harvests Motueka across a spectrum that ranges from bright zesty lime to sweeter lemon-lime and complex tropical fruit expressions.
Early harvest lots lean toward vivid lime, floral, and white fruit brightness, while late harvest lots express softer tropical fruit and sweet lemon-lime soda character. Later harvest Motueka adds depth and tropical top notes to hop-forward beers and pairs brilliantly with hops that bring resinous or dank components for balance.
