概要

ラクアウは、アプリコットを中心としたストーンフルーツの香りと、バランスの取れたダンク感が特徴のホップです。フリースタイルのラクアウは、力強く複雑な果樹園のようなアロマを持ち、ネルソンソーヴィンやワイメアなど、チオールを多く含むホップとの相性が抜群です。
テルペン主体のオーチャードフルーツの香りと、上品なカンナビス様のニュアンスが、他のホップのトロピカルなトップノートを引き立てます。単体で使用されることは少ないものの、ラクアウは多くの受賞歴を持つホップフォワードビールの重要な構成要素として活躍しています。

Rakau expresses distinct stone fruit aromas with apricot as the dominant note, supported by a well-rounded dank character. Freestyle Rakau delivers a potent and complex stone fruit profile that pairs beautifully with high-thiol hops such as Nelson Sauvin or Waimea.
Its terpene-forward orchard fruit character and subtle cannabis complexity enhance and elevate other hops with strong thiol expression. While Rakau is not often used as a single-hop variety, it frequently plays a crucial supporting role in many award-winning hop-forward beers.
